Mission Statement
The
website for Microscale Gas Chemistry exists for the purpose of
establishing safe and convenient methods for generating and
manipulating small samples of gases for experiments and study. We
develop classroom demonstrations and laboratory activities
suitable for use at a variety of levels ranging from the middle school
and high school levels up through university-level freshmen chemistry
students and chemistry majors taking descriptive inorganic chemistry.
More about this site
Almost all of the work presented on these
webpages was conducted by Creighton
University undergraduate students, most of whom were chemistry
majors. Over the past years, starting in 1996, approximately
fifty students have participated in microscale gas chemistry research.
